Suksun Chuthasan really knows how to draw an audience at exhibitions. The recent Hobby Expo held in Bangkok from 4th to 13th August 2001, was no exception. Crowds came in droves to the Marine Dive stand when owner, Suksun and his staff demonstrated the latest PADI Seal Team courses for children in a specially designed, on-site scuba tank.

Through their specially designed PADI Seal Team product displays, signs and banners, the extensive Marine Dive stand which not only contained the scuba tank, photo displays, a large TV screening underwater videos, dive equipment and PADI products, clearly reflects Suksun and Marine Dive's initiative to promote PADI scuba courses.

The Bangkok Hobby Expo also attracted exhibitors from other sporting areas such as golfing, rock climbing, camping and even stamp collecting.

Rick Ray, PADI Regional Manager - West Asia, was also on hand at the Expo and took the opportunity to present Suksun with an award for Outstanding Contribution to PADI. Suksun received the award for his ongoing efforts to embrace the PADI system of diving, from the Bubblemaker and Seal Team programs through to Instructor level programs.

In October last year, Marine Dive opened a new store located in The Mall Bangkapi shopping complex, one of the largest indoor shopping malls in Bangkok with over 400 retail outlets.
