
The
shape of things to come Mares came to Bangkok recently,
and Thailand’s Siam Diving Enterprises (SDE) hosted
the launch of the new range of products.
Distributors from all over the region came for the one
day seminar held on the 26th July 2002.
Mares bigwigs Marco Tallia, International Sales director
and Claudio Ferrantino, Mares President, introduced
the attendees to a host of new products that will be
available from mid-October.
Also present was Gianni Garofalo, Head of Research and
Development. Gianni has been designing Mares equip,emt
for many years.

The
Distributors were shown state of the art service kits
and multi media manuals as well as being taught how to
effectively market and sell Mares equipment.
Forthcoming BCD's this season include the Morphos on portable
packaway bcds with their own incorporated carrying bags.
Masks include the X-Vision, offering super wide vision
and with added portability as this collapsible mask can
be folded and kept in BCD pocket.
New regulator this year is the Proton Ice which is designed
to operate in extremely cold conditions - such as under
ice!
Fins from Mares have always been cutting edge, and the
new Volo Race is another example of Mares’ superiority
in the proplsion stakes.
