| Why Should
I Advertise In Thai Diver & Resort Guide?
Good
question.
Most
print media ads are pretty much in the "see it once
and throw it away" category. Pass on readership is
always hard to assess.
Most
newspapers and magazines have a short shelf life. A day, a
week, a month, then they're history. If it isn't a really
interesting or particularly colorful product it will soon
end up in the garbage.
And if
it's a retail product, even if the publisher is honest about
the number of copies he prints, how can you be sure they are
all actually sold?
Obviously,
you can't.
Thai
Diver is the Nation's only diving and water sports magazine.
We distribute 10,000 FREE copies of every issue through our
advertisers, at dive centers, resorts, hotels, sports clubs,
airports, tourist information centers, military associations
and other specialised outlets. We have subscribers from around
the world. We also distribute at international trade shows
in Europe, Japan, the USA and throughout Australasia, as well
as mailing copies to travel professionals throughout S.E.
Asia.
Thai
Diver is packed full of interesting and informative articles
and is an indispensable reference work for any diver. Each
copy is treasured by its owner and referred to over and over
again. Obviously, the pass on readership is significant as
the magazine looks great and people, divers and non-divers
alike, can't help but pick it up. We have deliberately made
the magazine non-date specific: much of the information in
a three-year old issue will still be as relevant as it was
when it was published. Dive sites don't change that much,
and our advertisers will still be in business at the same
addresses - although they may have added more outlets since
then! Diving is a growth industry in Thailand. No one throws
a copy of Thai Diver away. Your ad will continue to be seen
for years after publication
We currently
print an additional 1,000 copies for sale in selected Bookstores
and in hotels, restaurants and other up-market outlets.
Our readership
is predominantly AB and includes professionals, industry leaders,
government officials and a wide cross section of the wealthier,
and younger, sections of society, as well as foreign tourists,
travel agents and businessmen and women around the world.
Finally,
consider this: a full color, half-page ad in Thai Diver before
discount costs US$1,000. Divide this figure by the 10,000
copies we print and distribute, and the cost per copy per
issue comes out to US$.10c, far less than the cost a reasonably
good quality calling card - which is 1/6th the size of a half
page ad and still requires you to actually get it into the
hands of your target market. We do that for you too. With
your press releases.
Call,
fax or e-mail for more information.
